Class 1 Gravel Truck & Low Bed Driver

About the role

Knappett Industries is seeking an experienced Class 1 Gravel Truck and Low Bed Driver to support ongoing construction projects in Fort St. John, BC. The successful candidate will join a diverse, dynamic team and contribute to heavy‑equipment transport across the Peace Region.

Key responsibilities

• Load and transport heavy equipment using tandem‑tractor lowbeds and dump trucks.
• Operate hydro vac equipment for site preparation and utility work.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with the public and site personnel.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of loading and transporting heavy equipment, including dump gravel hauling.
• Positive attitude, works well with others, and can perform in all weather conditions year‑round.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lb or more.

Required skills

• Class 1 commercial driver’s licence.
• Experience operating low‑bed trucks.
• Experience operating hydro vac equipment.
