Civil Superintendent

About the role

Hall Constructors is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead construction activities on high‑profile projects in British Columbia. Reporting to a General Superintendent, you will oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Review and adjust site schedules, allocating crews and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, foremen, and on‑site engineers to maintain quality standards.
• Validate daily timesheets and approve purchase orders for materials and supplies.
• Lead safety, cost‑control, and scheduling initiatives on the construction site.
• Provide regular progress reports to the General Superintendent, highlighting issues and proposed solutions.
• Coach foremen and direct reports, facilitating performance reviews and development plans.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in construction operations, preferably on civil projects.
• Strong ability to collaborate with management, field staff, and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
