Civil Construction Labourer – Full-Time

About the role

Knappett Industries is seeking a Civil Construction Labourer to join its team on ongoing projects across Vancouver Island, BC. The role involves performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites while adhering to safety standards and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and support the site safety program.
• Perform general construction tasks as required on the job site.
• Operate and maintain small hand tools.
• Conduct shoveling and site clean‑up activities.
• Learn pipe‑laying techniques to support career advancement.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in civil construction.
• Ability to take and follow instructions and maintain a professional demeanor with the public.
• Physically fit, capable of lifting 50 lb or more and performing extensive physical labour.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions year‑round.
• Valid provincial driver’s licence and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
