Children's Coach

About the role

KidStrong is seeking an enthusiastic Children’s Coach to deliver its monthly brain, physical, and character development curriculum to kids aged 12 months to 11 years. You will work directly with children and their parents, creating a fun, motivating environment that supports confidence, strength, and social skills.

Key responsibilities

• Lead classes of 6‑15 children, ensuring sessions start and end on time.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the headquarters programming team.
• Greet students and parents individually before each class.
• Demonstrate and guide a variety of exercises while maintaining a dynamic, professional demeanor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the studio, including lobby, bathrooms, and equipment.
• Record attendance, awards, and other data using the KS Coach’s App.
• Communicate with coworkers via Slack and complete required training through FranConnect.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Required profile

• Athletic or coaching experience, preferably with children ages 12 months‑11 years.
• Comfortable explaining the “why” behind the curriculum to parents/guardians.
• Ability to work in a physically intensive environment and lift/move equipment.
• Willingness to work part‑time or full‑time with flexible hours.
• Prior pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Use of the KS Coach’s App for class data management.
• Proficiency with Slack for internal communication.
