Child Caregiver – Private Home

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable child caregiver to join a private household in Toronto. This full‑time, permanent position involves providing attentive, nurturing care for infants and children in the family’s home.

Key responsibilities

• Bath, dress, and feed infants and children daily.
• Teach personal hygiene and support social development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy home environment.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate games, outings, and activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support children’s emotional well‑being and assist with homework.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of relevant childcare experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, patience, honesty, and reliability.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
