About the role
We are seeking a reliable child care provider to work in a private home in Hampstead, Quebec. The role involves caring for children, managing household tasks, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, healthy environment.
- Shop for food and household supplies, wash, iron, and press clothing and linens, and prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
- Organize and lead activities such as games and outings, supervise and care for the children, and take them to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Tend to the emotional well‑being of the children, help with homework, and ensure a nurturing environment.
Required profile
- Demonstrates client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and sound judgement.
- Is organized, reliable, a team player, manages time effectively, and shows patience and honesty.
