Child and Family Therapist

About the role

Camino Wellbeing is seeking a full‑time Child and Family Therapist on an 18‑month contract to provide counselling and psychotherapeutic services to children, youth and their families in the Cambridge region. The role focuses on holistic, trauma‑informed practice and supports clients regardless of financial means.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions to children and youth up to 18 years old and their caregivers.
• Provide trauma‑informed therapy, safety planning and crisis support.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, including environmental and family factors.
• Coordinate services with families, guardians and other providers to ensure optimal care.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in counselling or a Master of Social Work with full registration.
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities for emotionally charged situations.
