Chief Operating Officer

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer will join a second‑generation, family‑led medical transportation provider in Pickering, Ontario. This senior leader will partner with the ownership group to drive strategic growth and build the operating model needed to double revenue over the next three to four years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a scalable operating model across multiple sites.
• Lead the creation of a high‑performing leadership team and strengthen operational discipline.
• Collaborate with the owners on commercial strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Define and nurture the company culture while ensuring long‑term value creation.
• Oversee day‑to‑day logistics, service delivery, and compliance for non‑emergency medical transportation.

Required profile

• Proven track record of scaling a mid‑market, service‑based business.
• Experience in logistics, healthcare transportation, or similarly complex operational environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive growth in a competitive market.
• Executive‑level leadership experience, preferably in a family‑owned or second‑generation business.
