About the role
The Ontario Agencies Supporting Individuals with Special Needs (OASIS) is seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer to lead its remote team, advance its mission, and strengthen its impact across the province.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization.
- Advance member engagement and advocacy initiatives.
- Undertake government relations and public policy advocacy.
- Ensure organizational excellence and financial sustainability.
- Serve as the primary ambassador to members, government, and sector partners.
Required profile
- Senior leadership experience in the nonprofit, public, association, or related sector.
- Strategic, operational, and financial acumen with sound judgment in complex environments.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with and reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors.
- Political acuity, diplomacy, strong communication, and consensus‑building skills.
- Genuine commitment to the developmental services sector, inclusion, equity, and quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.
What we offer
- Compensation target of $150,000 per year.
