Chef – Full-time Permanent Role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join FUNKEFAMOUS KITCHEN in Edmonton. This full-time permanent role involves preparing high-quality dishes for our guests while working flexible early-morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Manage kitchen stations, ensure timely service and maintain cleanliness.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Control inventory, order supplies and monitor food costs.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional cooking experience.
• Availability for early-morning, evening, shift and weekend work.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and support for diverse colleagues.
