Channel Sales & Retail Operation Manager

About the role

Huawei Canada has an immediate 12‑month contract opening for a Channel Sales & Retail Operation Manager. The role is part of a regional accounting shared service center that provides high‑quality, efficient, and standardized accounting services to the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage distributor and partner sell‑in, tracking order fulfillment, payment collections, and inventory turnover.
• Work closely with channel partners to achieve quarterly and annual distribution sales targets.
• Monitor inventory levels across the channel, flag excess or aging stock early, and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Analyze sell‑through data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing regular reporting to management.
• Ensure product availability and visibility in key retail stores, driving shelf share, fixture placement, demo table setup, and POS material deployment.
• Establish and maintain retail audit routines to monitor compliance on display, demo device functionality, and merchandising execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retail buyers, and carrier partners across Canada.
• Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand coverage in under‑penetrated regions or retail verticals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in channel sales, retail operations, or trade marketing in Canada, preferably in consumer electronics, telecommunications, or FMCG.
• Proven track record of managing distributor relationships and achieving sell‑in/sell‑through targets.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian retail landscape, including major chains, carrier channels, and independent dealer networks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
