Channel Sales Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Channel Sales Manager for the North America region to expand its reach through strategic partners focused on payment security and insights solutions. The role will drive partner recruitment, onboarding, revenue activation and growth, contributing directly to Mastercard’s revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refine the ideal partner profile in collaboration with senior management.
• Research, qualify and engage potential partners such as processors, acquirers, fintechs, data providers and ISVs.
• Develop joint business plans and sales targets aligned with Mastercard’s strategy before contract negotiations.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners to meet recruitment and revenue goals.
• Lead onboarding, activation and ongoing growth of partner relationships, ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with internal product, marketing and analytics teams to deliver tailored solutions to partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in channel or alliance sales within the payments or financial‑services ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of payment security, chargeback mitigation and payments data analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage long‑term partner relationships that generate revenue.
• Excellent negotiation and business planning skills.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Required skills

• Knowledge of payment processing, security solutions and data‑driven insights.
• Experience with partner lifecycle management (recruitment, onboarding, activation, growth).
• Ability to develop joint business plans and sales forecasts.
