Casual RN/RPN Nurse – Community Care

About the role

Closing the Gap Healthcare is seeking a compassionate RN or RPN for a casual, community‑based position in Woodbridge. You will provide home‑care services to pediatric clients, focusing on specialized clinical needs while working flexible Wednesday evenings and alternating Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client‑centered care, including tracheostomy management, ventilator support, and gastrostomy tube care.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with personal care routines.
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
• Prepare and maintain accurate client reports and updates.
• Uphold safety protocols and best practices with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum two years of experience in community care or a clinical/hospital setting.
• Certification in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C) and a current mask‑fit test.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and able to work independently.
