Casual Retail Sales Associate

About the role

The Casual Retail Sales Associate joins the ANBL store team in Saint Andrews, delivering a customer‑first experience in a dynamic liquor retail environment. This part‑time, flexible position allows you to balance work, school or family commitments while gaining experience in sales and product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations.
• Educate shoppers on liquor selections and promote responsible consumption.
• Process cash and point‑of‑sale transactions accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of promotions and product assortments.
• Perform visual merchandising and keep the store organized.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload deliveries in the warehouse.
• Complete routine clerical, office and light cleaning tasks.

Required profile

• At least 19 years old and not employed by a brewing, distilling or alcohol‑producing company.
• Minimum one year of sales or customer‑service experience; experience in alcohol retail is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb for stock handling.
• Legal right to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends and short‑notice call‑ins.
