About the role
Join DHALIWAL CONTRACTING LTD. as a full‑time carpenter in Edmonton, working on a variety of construction projects and ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare layouts that comply with building codes using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
- Supervise other workers on site.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with measuring tools and building‑code compliance.
- Ability to cut, shape, assemble and join various construction materials.
- Experience installing windows, doors, stairs and mouldings.
