About the role
Evershine Building Maintenance is seeking a skilled carpenter to join its construction team in Calgary. The role involves working on a variety of building projects, from framing to finishing, ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Estimate costs and material requirements.
Required profile
- Accurate and reliable.
- Team player.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
Required skills
- Reading blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
