About the role

Rockview Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled carpenter to join its Edmonton team. You will work on new residential builds and renovation projects, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship and compliance with building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts that meet building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial environments.
