Carpenter – Construction & Renovation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated carpenter to join our team in Calgary, delivering high‑quality framing, installation and renovation work across various sites. The role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring structures meet design specifications and client expectations. Flexibility to work at multiple locations and adapt to varying project demands is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in diverse settings such as mills, mines, hospitals and industrial plants.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of carpentry experience.
• Physical capability to bend, crouch, kneel and lift heavy materials.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, reliably and as a team player.
