About the role
We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to lead daily operations at our Maple Ridge location. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, ensuring quality service, and driving customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage the budget for food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
- Evaluate daily operations and monitor revenues to control labour costs.
- Supervise, train and schedule a team of 5‑10 staff members.
- Recruit new staff and oversee performance management.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Participate in marketing initiatives and address customer complaints.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience managing a café or similar food‑service operation.
- Responsibility for a budget between $100,001 and $500,000.
- Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 employees.
