About the role
Willson International is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join its remote sales team across Canada. In this full‑time position you will help prospects navigate cross‑border trade by identifying their pain points and presenting tailored logistics solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high‑volume outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads by understanding prospect needs and matching them with appropriate Willson services.
- Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with sales, service and operations teams to refine targeting strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Track activity metrics and consistently meet or exceed defined KPIs.
Required profile
- Proven interest in sales with a self‑motivated, resilient and coachable attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in outreach and discovery conversations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Strong time‑management, attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities.
Required skills
- Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting.
