Business Development Manager - Reverse Mortgage

About the role

Join a fast‑growing challenger bank as a Business Development Manager focused on reverse mortgage origination. You will expand the broker network, nurture existing relationships, and drive volume in your assigned geography while delivering the bank’s high‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and onboard new mortgage brokers and strengthen existing broker relationships.
• Identify and develop reverse‑mortgage deals that fit the bank’s addressable market.
• Promote the bank’s value proposition to win business and support brokers through the closing process.
• Present at training sessions, industry events, and special occasions as needed.
• Collaborate with internal sales, credit, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
• Report directly to the Director of Residential Sales and meet origination volume targets.

Required profile

• Positive, professional demeanor with a strong service orientation.
• Deep knowledge of the broker network, bank products, internal processes, and credit guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively with both internal and external sales teams.
• Strong communication skills for non‑face‑to‑face and occasional in‑person interactions.
