Magnet Search Group Inc. is recruiting on behalf of a global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) leader to find a strategic Business Development Manager. This pivotal role is designed to drive commercial growth and manage a high-stakes relationship with a key strategic retailer within the Grocery CPG segment.

Missions principales

  • Drive and lead business development efforts for a strategic grocery retailer.
  • Manage and optimize commercial promotions to maximize market share.
  • Conduct rigorous performance tracking and post-promotion analysis.
  • Execute category planning to align with retailer objectives and brand growth.
  • Oversee the financial management of trade spend and promotional budgets.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team through active participation in strategic meetings.

Profil recherché

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in CPG sales, specifically within the food/grocery sector.
  • Full professional bilingualism in English and French is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a high level of financial acumen.
  • Meticulous attention to detail regarding trade spend and financial reporting.

Competences requises

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in Nielsen IQ for market data analysis.
  • Strategic account management and category planning.
  • Financial management of commercial promotions.
