Business Analyst – Dynamics 365 (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience to join our on‑site team in Calgary on a contract basis. You will work closely with business, development, and QA teams to translate requirements into actionable work items and ensure high‑quality solution delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements as PBIs in Azure DevOps.
• Define detailed Acceptance Criteria for each PBI and participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Maintain traceability between PBIs, design artifacts and testing deliverables.
• Work with Dynamics 365/Dataverse entities, forms and workflows, ensuring configurations meet business needs.
• Collaborate with integration teams, including GIS and external systems.
• Create and execute test cases, manage defects in Azure DevOps, and support UAT activities.
• Prepare training materials, quick reference guides and assist with go‑live readiness and post‑go‑live support.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Business Analysis and QA activities in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Calgary and manage dual BA + QA responsibilities.
