Business Account Manager – Client Relations & Portfolio Growth

About the role

The Business Account Manager will nurture and grow relationships with key corporate clients, especially those facing financial challenges. You will balance portfolio profitability with client satisfaction, acting as the primary liaison between clients and Desjardins to ensure they receive the right products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lasting, personal business relationships with clients to promote Desjardins services.
• Analyze struggling client accounts, collaborate with practitioners, and develop turnaround or collection strategies.
• Negotiate terms and agreements on behalf of Desjardins while adhering to internal processes and standards.
• Serve as the link between clients and internal teams, ensuring correct product usage and client satisfaction.
• Identify client needs, recommend solutions, and prepare integrated service offers that balance satisfaction, profitability, and risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or business development.
• Advanced proficiency in French due to client interactions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal savvy, and results‑driven mindset.
