Building Services Worker – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

CASOT INC is seeking a reliable Building Services Worker to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of a hotel in Brossard. You will work with minimal supervision, handling a variety of routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris.
• Empty trash cans, clean windows, interior walls, ceilings, and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; conduct safety and security checks.
• Maintain outdoor areas by cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking, and using small tractors or snowblowers for snow removal.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens; carry out routine painting and drywall repairs.

Required profile

• Dependability, flexibility, initiative, good judgement, organization, and reliability.
• Physical ability to handle loads up to 45 kg, bend, crouch, kneel, and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Use of steam cleaners.
• Use of power tools.
• Operation of small tractors with lawn/snow‑removal attachments.
• Operation of snowblowers.
