Building Operator – HVAC Operations

About the role

Under the supervision of the HVAC Supervisor, Zone East, the Building Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of heating, refrigeration and other building engineering equipment assigned under his care.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heating, refrigeration and other building engineering equipment.
• Respond to urgent operational requirements in a fast‑paced environment, including being on a call‑in list.

Required profile

• Valid Fourth Class Stationary Engineering certificate and Class “B” Refrigeration Equipment Operations certificate.
• Functional spoken and read English and French; functional written English or French.

Required skills

• HVAC operation and maintenance.
• Stationary Engineering and Refrigeration Equipment Operations certifications.
