About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join our family‑run restaurant in Sackville. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting payroll and tax processes.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns.
- Prepare trial balance of books.
- Reconcile accounts.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education in accounting or a related field.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of bookkeeping experience.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable working in a rural restaurant environment.
