Bilingual Senior Training Officer – Training & Development

About the role

Scotiabank is seeking a bilingual Senior Training Officer to deliver high‑impact training for its Global Transaction Banking (GTB) products. The role focuses on small‑business, corporate and commercial clients, ensuring they can use Scotiabank’s services confidently and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver remote training sessions on all GTB products and services.
• Maintain training schedules in coordination with department managers and clients.
• Review client setups and entitlements to confirm training readiness, and resolve any issues with helpdesk or other departments.
• Provide internal partner training as needed, using various delivery channels.
• Identify product, technical or operational enhancements that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Evaluate processes and documentation, recommending improvements to management.
• Measure training success through feedback and analytics, continuously refining programs.

Required profile

• Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written); Spanish is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of GTB products and services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to manage client needs and deliver clear training.
