Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist (French/English)

About the role

Cencora is seeking a bilingual Reimbursement Specialist to support patient and provider services across Canada. The role focuses on securing prescription drug coverage for patients by coordinating with insurers, healthcare professionals, and funding programs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all steps required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Liaise with insurance companies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions.
• Prepare and submit documentation to insurance carriers and public/federal funding programs.
• Implement Financial Means Tests and other eligibility assessments.
• Oversee pharmacy processes once funding is secured.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.
• Report adverse events to the appropriate units.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service within an office environment.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Professional telephone etiquette and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or insurance sectors is an asset.
• Bilingual French/English is an asset.
