Benefits Officer – Payroll Administration

About the role

The Benefits Officer – Payroll Administration will support CATSA’s employees by managing payroll processes and administering a range of benefit programs. Working in a hybrid environment, you will ensure accurate and timely compensation while delivering high‑quality service to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Process bi‑weekly payroll, verify deductions, and ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
• Administer health, dental, vision, and other employee benefit plans, including enrolment and changes.
• Maintain and update records for Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) contributions.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, providing clear guidance.
• Collaborate with HR to support accessibility accommodations and diversity initiatives.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and benefit regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.

Required skills

• Experience with payroll administration processes.
• Knowledge of employee benefit programs and RRSP administration.
