About the role
Associated Ambulance is seeking Benefit Eligible Casual Employees (BECE) to work across multiple stations in Alberta. BECEs are casual staff with guaranteed 0.5 FTE (approximately seven shifts per month) and are eligible for company benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Provide shift availability one month in advance, ensuring a minimum of seven shifts per month, including at least one weekend.
- Work assigned shifts according to the provided availability, with the company aiming to give at least 24 hours notice where possible.
- Be available to work half of long weekends as required.
Required profile
- Valid ACP practice permit meeting Alberta EMS requirements.
- Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s licence.
- Up‑to‑date mandatory training, including MCP and PDIC.
- Vulnerable Sector Check and a 5‑year driver’s abstract.
- Successful completion of FARE within the last six months.
- Current immunisations.
