Bellperson

About the role

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is hiring a Bellperson. You will personally greet guests on arrival, show them around their rooms and act as an ambassador of the property and brand in the lobby. The position is full-time and permanent, paid $24.88 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver guests' luggage, messages and other items within the property in a timely way
• Personally orient guests to their rooms in a professional, friendly and engaging manner
• Maintain a presence in the lobby and offer exceptional service to guests
• Act as a valet parking attendant, parking and retrieving guest vehicles
• Receive and deliver items for guests
• Address guest concerns and bring them to the attention of the Manager on Duty
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel's emergency procedures

Required profile

• Valid Alberta Class 4 driver's licence (or equivalent) and a current driver's abstract free of serious demerit points
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
• Physically capable of meeting the very physical demands of the position
• Able to work holidays, weekends, overnight and other non-day shifts; applying indicates willingness to do so
• Legally authorized to work in Canada; the hotel cannot help obtain work authorization
