Bakery Clerk (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Bakery Clerk works in an in‑store bakery, delivering fresh products and exceptional service to customers. This part‑time position involves handling orders, preparing baked goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and corporate guidelines.
• Provide friendly customer service and process bakery orders.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Handle, prepare, and display bakery products according to merchandising standards.
• Promote bakery items to increase store sales.
• Assist with ordering, receiving stock, and inventory control.
• Participate in training of junior staff and execute merchandising programs.
• Process department shrink and maintain accurate records.
