Bakery Clerk – In‑Store Bakery

About the role

Join Thrifty Foods in White Rock as a Bakery Clerk, where you’ll be the front‑line ambassador for the in‑store bakery. You’ll ensure customers receive fresh products, friendly service, and a clean shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety, health, and corporate policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and process bakery orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and presentable displays.
• Handle, prepare, and merchandise bakery products.
• Promote bakery items to increase store sales.
• Order and receive stock following inventory control procedures.
• Process department shrink and manage stock levels.
• Assist in training junior staff and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
