About the role
We are looking for a reliable baker to join our large‑volume bakery in Toronto. The role involves preparing a variety of doughs, batters and pastries for daily production and special orders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods according to recipes.
- Mix and bake batters for muffins, cookies, cakes and produce icings and frostings.
- Create pastry items for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays.
- Bake mixed doughs and batters and ensure consistent product quality.
- Frost and decorate cakes and other baked goods.
- Organise and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- Keep work areas clean and compliant with food safety standards.
Required profile
- Reliability and strong time‑management skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- At least 1 – 2 years of bakery experience.
Required skills
- Dough preparation.
- Baking.
- Cake frosting and decoration.
- Pastry preparation for special occasions.
- Inventory management.
