AWS DevOps Engineer – CI/CD Automation, Terraform, Cloud Infrastructure & Security

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role is hybrid, based in Toronto, and focuses on automation, security, and reliability of enterprise‑scale AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines (declarative and scripted) using Groovy.
• Develop and manage Terraform modules for AWS provisioning and state handling.
• Write Python scripts to automate AWS operations, deployments, and reporting.
• Operate ECS Fargate workloads, including task definitions, services, and auto‑scaling.
• Provision and maintain EC2 instances running Amazon Linux 2023.
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS services such as ALB, NLB, VPC, Security Groups, and IAM.
• Support multi‑account environments with AWS Organizations and Systems Manager.
• Run vulnerability scans with Wiz, Tenable, Kenna, and Aqua Security and embed findings into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production, respond to incidents, and drive CVE remediation within SLAs.
• Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation; participate in on‑call rotation and agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure and enterprise production support.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure CI/CD solutions.
• Experience with vulnerability management and security tooling.
