Automotive Technician – BMW Store (Vancouver)

About the role

OpenRoad Auto Group Limited is seeking a fully licensed Automotive Technician to join The BMW Store in Vancouver. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of European vehicles while ensuring high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receive repair orders, perform work efficiently and accurately, and follow dealership and factory standards.
• Use computerized diagnostic and testing devices to isolate faults and perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune‑ups.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer performance specs and road‑test vehicles for quality assurance.
• Communicate with the parts department, create quotes for additional work, and supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop environment and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Fully licensed automotive technician with a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
• 2‑3 years of experience working on European vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Highly self‑motivated, organized, and able to make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
