Automotive Mechanic – Full‑time Permanent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our Ottawa workshop on a permanent, full‑time basis. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components.
• Repair, replace or overhaul engines, transmissions, brake, suspension, HVAC and other systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and adjust repaired systems to specifications.
• Complete detailed reports documenting problems and work performed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work in a fast‑paced shop environment.
• Strong attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Own basic tools and steel‑toed safety boots.
