Automation, Controls & IIoT Engineer

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology as an Automation, Controls & IIoT Engineer, driving smart testing, digital transformation, and data standardization for intelligent pump products across global manufacturing sites. You will work on highly automated test systems, integrating PLC/SCADA, Industrial IoT, and advanced analytics to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smart testing and automation initiatives, developing adaptive testing logic, automated sequencing, and optimization for intelligent pump products.
• Support PLC programming, SCADA development, and lifecycle management, standardizing architecture, reusable logic libraries, diagnostics, and safety functions.
• Develop scalable test program logic, validate firmware, and collaborate with engineering teams on control algorithms.
• Drive data acquisition, validation, analytics, and reporting through centralized test data platforms and real‑time dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, Industrial IoT, or smart manufacturing environments.
