Audio Engineer Adjunct Instructor

About the role

The Audio Engineer Adjunct Instructor will deliver classroom instruction, workshops, and student support in alignment with the SAE curriculum model. Reporting to the Campus Director and Senior Educational Administrator, the role focuses on high‑quality learning experiences and student outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver courses that meet SAE learning outcomes and competencies.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, self‑esteem, and timely attendance.
• Maintain and update course content on the Canvas Learning Management System.
• Communicate with students via Canvas to supplement learning and provide feedback.
• Assess student work, assign grades promptly, and record final grades within required timeframes.
• Identify at‑risk students, advise them, and coordinate support with academic staff.
• Participate in academic advising, curriculum committees, orientation, graduation events, and other campus activities.
• Adhere to institutional policies, provincial regulations, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Either two years of related work experience plus the credential, or ten years of professional experience in a relevant occupation.
• Commitment to ongoing instructional and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Canvas Learning Management System.
