Attorney – Montreal (m/f/d)

About the role

Join Nordex’s North American legal team and support the company’s mission to deliver 100% renewable energy through wind power projects. As an Attorney based in Montreal, you will provide comprehensive legal services across commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, edit, and negotiate commercial contracts with customers (supply, service, finance, warranty) and suppliers (master purchasing, subcontractor, logistics, consulting).
• Provide legal advice to Sales, Procurement, Project Management, Service, Finance, and People & Culture teams via meetings, calls, and email.
• Draft and negotiate non‑disclosure agreements with prospective and existing partners.
• Manage insurance matters, including coverage analysis, claim support, broker coordination, and dispute resolution.
• Handle corporate compliance documents such as resolutions, stock registers, certificates, minutes, and government registrations.
• Support complex tenders for wind turbine supply and maintenance, as well as financing and project‑financing agreements.
• Assist with environmental, municipal, intellectual‑property, and international legal projects as needed.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an accredited Canadian law school.
• Current Quebec law license.
• 4–8 years of experience in a law firm handling international business matters or in‑house experience at a global company.
