Assurance Manager

About the role

D&H Group LLP is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to lead engagement teams and manage a diverse client portfolio. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners, deliver high‑quality assurance and advisory services, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, mid‑sized public accounting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage assurance engagements, including audit and review engagements.
• Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with ASPE, ASNPO and IFRS.
• Oversee tax filing considerations that impact audit and review results.
• Manage multiple client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Supervise staff and senior accountants, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure engagement deliverables are completed on time and meet professional standards.
• Participate in developing firm policies and internal processes to improve service delivery.
• Lead technical training sessions and support professional development of team members.

Required profile

• CPA designation in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years of assurance experience.
• Proven leadership managing audit/review teams.
• Strong knowledge of ASPE and IFRS.
• Working knowledge of Canadian income tax compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
