Associate Quality Engineer

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking Associate Quality Engineers to join its QA & Release Engineering team in Toronto. The role focuses on functional and automated testing of cloud‑based life‑sciences software, supporting pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical‑device customers. Graduates and early‑career candidates are encouraged to apply and will receive a structured onboarding program.

Key responsibilities

• Create testing documentation (test plans, test cases, bug reports) and assess quality risks.
• Automate test cases and collaborate with the automation group to improve regression coverage.
• Triage automation results and assist in issue resolution.
• Develop deep product expertise and execute QA tests within schedule.
• Work closely with software engineers, product managers and other QA testers in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• Experience coding in Java and/or mobile languages.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and approaches (black‑box and automated testing) in fast‑release cycles.
• Graduate degree or relevant work experience in software development or test automation.
• Strong curiosity and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
