Associate Manager, Content Marketing (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager, Content Marketing on a 12‑month contract to develop clear, engaging content that helps benefit and retirement plan members understand and use their plans. You will translate complex financial concepts into plain‑language guidance and compelling stories for diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create member‑education content including emails, newsletters, digital assets, and presentation materials.
• Translate benefit, retirement and financial topics into engaging, plain‑language communications.
• Support lifecycle and journey‑based marketing by identifying educational opportunities and encouraging appropriate plan utilization.
• Develop and refine email and newsletter copy to drive awareness and engagement over time.
• Use performance data, insights and feedback to shape content strategy, and devise creative ways to capture engagement signals.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, legal, compliance, business) to ensure accurate, effective content.
• Apply financial‑services trends and member insights to inform strategy while maintaining brand voice and regulatory compliance.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools to create, refine and optimise copy efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience simplifying financial topics for broad audiences.
• Strong copywriting background across email, newsletter and digital channels.
• Experience with lifecycle or journey‑based marketing in a regulated environment.
• Ability to use data and insights to shape strategy and demonstrate impact.
• Comfort collaborating with internal partners and offering expert recommendations.
• Awareness of financial‑services trends and best practices.
• Minimum three years of relevant marketing experience.
