Associate Lawyer – Litigation

About the role

Olschewski Davie is expanding its litigation team and seeks a motivated Associate Lawyer to handle a broad range of litigation matters. The role involves managing cases, appearing before courts and tribunals, and working directly with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from intake through resolution, ensuring timely progress.
• Appear before courts, tribunals, and other adjudicative bodies on behalf of clients.
• Conduct discovery, draft pleadings, motions, and legal arguments.
• Provide strategic advice and maintain regular communication with clients.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and support staff to develop case strategies.

Required profile

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Manitoba.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on litigation experience.
• Strong advocacy, research, and drafting abilities.
• Ability to manage files independently and deliver excellent client service.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
