Associate Client Executive

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Associate Client Executive (ACE) in Montreal, a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week in the office. The ACE is the primary advocate and day-to-day contact for a defined portfolio of clients, supporting new and existing clients by building strong internal and external relationships, managing key documentation and deadlines, and delivering timely, tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the key day-to-day Marsh contact for assigned clients and their primary advocate within Marsh
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve routine issues and handle moderately complex questions, or route them to the right colleagues
• Anticipate and triage client needs while ensuring compliance with Marsh policies, documentation standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage annual renewals and other key deliverables with placement advisory, risk consulting and other technical specialists
• Review contract documentation such as required insurance coverage, compare it against coverage and draft and issue broker certification letters
• Evaluate risks, develop solutions, explain the impact of options and recommend across product lines
• Stay up to date on market conditions, coverage trends and emerging risk areas
• Build relationships with clients, carriers and industry stakeholders, and contribute to thought leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of commercial property and casualty insurance coverage experience highly preferred
• Insurance broker's license, or ability to obtain one, required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
• CIP or CAIB designation (or working towards it) is an asset
