Assistant Team Leader – Retail Operations

About the role

The Assistant Team Leader supports the management team in daily retail store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and a well‑organized store environment. This role combines hands‑on tasks with supervisory responsibilities to keep the store running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the management team with overall store operations and staff coordination.
• Handle boxing and unboxing of daily shipments and stock products on shelves.
• Climb ladders safely to reach all store areas for merchandising and maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and visual standards.
• Perform cash management duties, including opening and closing procedures.
• Track breaks, time, and attendance, and support hiring and performance management processes.

Required profile

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant retail experience.
• At least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Customer‑service oriented mindset.
