Assistant Store Manager – Thunder Bay

Key responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, back‑room, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping and receiving, with a focus on minimizing shrink and damages.
• Attract, recruit, and develop top talent through comprehensive training, mentorship, and ongoing development for associates.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes while providing input on succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer‑service targets, coordinate loss‑prevention programs, and improve store layout and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to provide effective feedback and mentorship.
• Proficiency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.
