Assistant Store Manager – Meadowvale

About the role

Join Canadian Tire’s vibrant retail team as an Assistant Store Manager in Meadowvale. You will work closely with the General Manager and Department Managers to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong floor presence, engaging with customers to assess and improve their experience.
• Support the achievement of sales, productivity, and customer‑experience targets.
• Plan and oversee store projects, especially technology initiatives.
• Coach, motivate, and develop the Management Team to meet departmental goals.
• Analyze team performance, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements.
• Assist with daily opening and closing duties and ensure compliance with company policies and health‑safety regulations.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff and managers.
• Foster community relations to enhance Canadian Tire’s local image.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of retail operations experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead teams, meet sales targets, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑starter attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
