Assistant Marketing Manager – Drumstick Brand

About the role

As the Assistant Marketing Manager for Drumstick, you will help shape the future of one of Canada’s most beloved ice‑cream brands. This hybrid position blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, from developing brand plans to launching new products and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fact‑based analytical support by monitoring brand and competitive performance using Nielsen IQ and other data sources.
• Prepare and present monthly brand and competitive performance reviews.
• Translate consumer, brand and marketplace insights into actionable recommendations within the 18‑month and 3‑year brand plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of innovation and renovation projects, coordinating cross‑functional partners.
• Manage all launch‑related activities, including research, volume builds, packaging, product development, sales presentations, kits and samples.
• Support packaging, pricing, promotional, merchandising and distribution initiatives.
• Track Product Fixed Marketing Expense (PFME) and conduct pre‑ and post‑launch evaluations.
• Develop customer‑facing materials such as sell sheets, cycle kits and communication plans.
